A Kingsport resident has been handed a 50-month prison sentence for filing fraudulent tax returns, as reported by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). This decision follows the actions of Aylissa Glidewell, aged 35, who was found guilty of submitting false information to unlawfully claim tax credits. The announcement came from both the DOJ and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
