Breezy, dry and warm through the weekend

In Tampa, Florida, residents can expect a delightful afternoon with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 80s. The day promises to remain dry with comfortable humidity levels, as no rain is anticipated.

As we head into the weekend, gusty winds will make their presence felt, initially coming from the northeast today and Saturday. By Sunday, a shift to easterly winds will usher in increased moisture from the Atlantic, leading to a rise in humidity. This change will bring a 30% chance of scattered showers throughout the day.

These conditions are expected to persist into Monday and Tuesday as the humidity and rain chances linger. However, by Wednesday, a stronger cold front is set to arrive. Although it won’t bring additional rain, it’s poised to deliver the season’s most significant temperature drop.

For the first time this season, high temperatures are predicted to settle in the mid-70s, while nighttime lows could dip into the 50s, offering a refreshing change for the area.
