Steady rain will continue overnight and into Monday morning.
ORLANDO, Fla. – Abundant moisture and a developing midlevel low are combining to keep steady rain across Central Florida through Sunday evening.
Tonight
The broad area of rain that moved over Central Florida Sunday afternoon will remain in place overnight and continue into Monday morning. Localized flooding could develop in low-lying locations, particularly north of the Orlando metro area, where some communities have already recorded 3 to 4 inches of rain. Overnight lows will settle near 70°F.
Monday
Moisture and instability will linger Monday, keeping rain chances elevated to start the week. The best chance for rain will come during the first half of the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms affecting the morning commute before gradually breaking apart by midmorning. Rain will become more scattered through the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Mid-Week
An upper-level trough will help push a cold front toward Central Florida late Thursday into Friday. The front is expected to weaken considerably before arriving, but it will still usher in drier air for EDC weekend.
