KINGSPORT, Tenn. — The Kingsport Board of Mayor and Aldermen has greenlighted financial backing for the ambitious redevelopment of the Dobyns-Taylor warehouse situated in downtown Kingsport. During their Tuesday evening session, board members passed two critical resolutions associated with this initiative. One of these resolutions permits a financial contribution to the Economic Development Board of Kingsport (KEDB), with the amount capped at $9.25 million. This move marks a significant step forward in revitalizing the downtown area, promising to bring new life and economic opportunities to the community.
