In a significant step toward combating human trafficking, Tennessee has introduced the Ink of Hope Act, set to take effect on January 1, 2026. This new legislation mandates that all licensed tattoo artists and operators in the state undertake a training course lasting up to one hour. The course is designed to equip them with the skills necessary to identify signs of human trafficking, thereby playing a crucial role in prevention efforts.
