PORT ORANGE, Fla. – A serious collision on Sunday afternoon sent a motorcyclist to the hospital with severe injuries, as reported by the Port Orange Police Department.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:54 p.m. at the busy crossroads of Dunlawton Avenue and Nova Road. Although specifics of the events leading up to the crash are yet to be disclosed, authorities confirmed that the accident involved a motorbike and another vehicle.

Thankfully, the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, which may have helped mitigate injuries. Meanwhile, the other driver involved in the accident was unharmed and remained at the scene to assist with the investigation.
