SCOTT COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — Authorities have charged two individuals with child abuse following an incident involving a 10-week-old baby who was hospitalized. According to a statement from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, the county’s Department of Social Services alerted detectives on Monday about the infant’s “serious injuries,” prompting an investigation.
