Chicago school security guard accused of criminal sexual abuse of minors

In a troubling case that has sent shockwaves through the community, a security guard employed by Chicago Public Schools is facing serious allegations involving the sexual abuse of a minor. The accused, Heather Pancer, aged 48, has been charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault. The charges pertain to a victim between the ages of 13 and 17.

Pancer, who held a position as a security officer at George Washington High School, as stated on the school’s official website, is at the center of these allegations. The incidents reportedly date back to September 2018 and involve a female student who was just 15 years old at the time. The accusations suggest that Pancer engaged in inappropriate and illegal conduct with this student, sparking a legal battle that has attracted significant attention.
