Two arrested, one hurt in road rage crashes in Springfield

A Springfield resident found himself behind bars on Wednesday after authorities uncovered a staggering cache of illegal substances and firearms at his home. The arrest of 34-year-old Tavious Spencer came as a result of an in-depth investigation by the Springfield Police Department’s Pro-Active Crime Unit.

The probe, which had been in progress for some time, culminated on November 5 when officers, armed with a search warrant, descended upon Spencer’s residence. The operation was supported by the Street Crimes Unit, ensuring a thorough and coordinated effort to bring Spencer into custody.
