GBI investigating shooting in Glennville, one dead

GLENNVILLE, Ga. () — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is investigating a shooting that left one dead on July 6.

At approximately midnight, the Glennville Police Department (GPD) reacted to reports of a shooting occurring in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Drive between Boyd Street and Green Street.

After arriving on scene, they found Alvin Lashawn Williams, 32, with a gunshot wound.

Williams was transported to a local hospital where he later passed.

Two additional individuals were discovered at the scene, also suffering from gunshot injuries. They have been taken to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
