The travel period is projected to span from November 25 to December 1, aligning with the Thanksgiving rush. Across the United States, the number of travelers is expected to reach nearly 82 million. The Tennessee Highway Patrol has noted a significant increase in road traffic as more individuals opt to drive during this busy holiday season.
