Soldiers participate in Cyber Quest 2025 at Fort Gordon

FORT GORDON, Ga. () – For the last two weeks, Fort Gordon soldiers have been learning about cybersecurity in the annual Cyber Quest event.

Every year, the event takes place on post. This past Tuesday marked the final day of exercises aimed at pinpointing emerging technologies that improve cyber and electronic warfare.

“We aim to provide the United States Army with capabilities that increase their lethality and survivability,” stated Colonel Christian Haffey. “In this kind of environment, set up as an experiment rather than a typical exercise, there’s an opportunity for failure, as well as a chance to offer feedback on how to enhance those capabilities.”

“I’m definitely planning to bring some of this information back to base and discuss it with colleagues, as there are several pieces of equipment here that we could put to use immediately,” commented Specialist Quinton West.

Overall, Army Cyber Innovation tested and evaluated 15 technologies.
