Teenager Jordan Lee Won Boys’ Singles Title

On July 12, Orlando teenager Jordan Lee turned that dream into reality, winning the Wimbledon Boys Singles Championship in a hard-fought three-set match against a higher-ranked opponent.
Lee’s breakthrough on the grass courts of Wimbledon was built on far more than one championship match. It came after years of training, long hours of practice and months spent recovering from injuries that threatened to derail his season. After battling through those setbacks, he still had to qualify for the prestigious junior tournament. Instead, Lee kept pushing — and made history, becoming only the second qualifier ever to win the Wimbledon Boys title and the first American to claim it since 2021.
