Curious about which stores will be open during the Christmas and New Year holidays?
Don’t worry; we have compiled a comprehensive list of operating hours for supermarkets, liquor stores, and shopping centers during the 2024 festive season.
Coles
NSW/VIC/QLD/TAS/ACT/WA/NT:
Christmas Eve: All stores will be open.
Christmas Day: All stores will be closed.
Boxing Day: All stores open
New Year’s Eve: All stores open
New Year’s Day: All stores open
Most Coles stores across Australia will be open over the Christmas period, except for select stores in South Australia (stock image)
South Australia:
Christmas Eve: All stores open
Christmas Day: All stores closed
Boxing Day: All metropolitan stores are closed, regional stores are open from 8pm to 8am
New Year’s Eve: All stores open
New Year’s Day: All metropolitan areas are closed (except for Adelaide’s Rundle Pl store which is OPEN from 11am – 5pm), regional stores are open from 8pm to 8am
The regional stores are in Berri, Mount Barker, Mount Gambier, Murray Bridge Green, Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Victor Harbor and Whyalla.
As opening and closing times may be different to usual at some stores, Coles is encouraging customers to check their website for individual store trading hours.
