Arnold Schwarzenegger's son Christopher stuns with thinnest frame yet

On a laid-back Friday in Malibu, Christopher Schwarzenegger appeared noticeably slimmer than ever before. The 28-year-old, who is the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, showcased his impressive weight loss while dressed in a navy crewneck sweatshirt paired with off-white joggers.

Even with the relaxed fit of his casual attire, Christopher’s well-defined muscles were evident, hinting at the dedication behind his transformation. The striking resemblance to his famous father, Arnold, a seven-time Mr. Olympia champion, was undeniable. Observers have also noted his likeness to his half-brother, Joseph Baena, known for his own bodybuilding pursuits.

Christopher’s journey toward a healthier physique began back in 2019 during his time in Australia. It was there that he realized his excess weight was holding him back from experiencing life fully. This realization marked a pivotal moment, sparking a commitment to change.

Over five years, Christopher remarkably shed 250 pounds by overhauling his diet and embracing a rigorous exercise routine. His regimen included weight lifting, boxing, and hiking, all of which contributed significantly to his transformation. His inspiring journey is a testament to the power of determination and lifestyle changes.

‘It was a big process,’ Christopher said at the Beacher Vitality’s Happy & Healthy Summit in Los Angeles last year, per Page Six.

‘I just saw how much my weight was prohibiting me from doing the everyday activities,’ he told host Jeff Beacher alongside featured guest speakers Dr Robert Huizenga and Kelly Osbourne, whose own dramatic weight loss has captured attention.

‘I was like, “I want to go skydiving.” And my friends were like, “Yeah, no shot.” I was like, “Yeah, I can’t skydive.”‘

Christopher, who graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in psychology, recalled his body image issues dated as far back as high school.

‘I tried everything. I was doing meal delivery things in high school, and I remember feeling like a weirdo when I was bringing weird lunches to school,’ he shared.

But his weight loss was ‘not an overnight thing’ and ‘took a lot of trial and error’ by fine-tuning his workouts and diet.

Last year, Christopher, who described himself as a ‘good Catholic boy,’ said he ‘gave up bread for Lent’ and ‘lost 30 pounds just through that.’

At the time of the summit, he felt he hadn’t yet reached his final ‘after’ weight loss goal, seeing it as an ongoing process.

‘Even still to this day… when you’re saying, oh, before-and-after photos… I don’t feel like I’m an “after” yet. I don’t feel like I’m at the point,’ he admitted.

His family is clearly proud of what he’s been able to accomplish through discipline, hard work and sweat.
