A young woman who died in a crash has been remembered as “the light in every room” and the “soul of our family” by her grieving mother.

Samantha Fielder, 21, was killed in a collision with another car on Emu Park Road in Nankin, in Queensland’s Rockhampton area, on Sunday afternoon.

Her mother, Lisa Pobjoy, said the loss was “unimaginable” and there were “no words that will ever be enough to express the heartbreak” she felt.

“She was the light in every room, the laughter in our lives, and the soul of our family.”

Pobjoy added that her daughter was “my sunshine, my laughter, my strength on the hardest days”.

”No one ever expects to say goodbye this soon, especially not to someone so young, vibrant, and full of life,” she said.

“Rest in peace, our beautiful angel. You will forever be missed and loved beyond words.”
