Australia’s statehood decision not a reward for Hamas, the Palestinian Authority says

Following Australia’s move to acknowledge a Palestinian state in September, SBS journalist Rena Sarumpaet interviewed Varsen Aghabekian Shahin, the Foreign Minister of the Palestinian Authority, regarding the governance of a prospective Palestinian state. She inquired about the assurances the Palestinian Authority provided to Australia to obtain its recognition.
