“It looks like an accident,” she said.

She did not provide further details about the emergency’s nature or the specific location of where the bodies were discovered, suggesting that inquiries be directed to occupational safety regulators.

The US Department of Labor’s spokesperson mentioned that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is conducting an investigation, and more details will be shared once it concludes.

Dairy Farmers of America said a “tragic accident” occurred at a member farm in Keenesburg that resulted in the deaths of six people.

“We are profoundly saddened by this tragic event, and our heartfelt condolences are extended to the families and friends of those who passed. At this preliminary stage, no additional information is available,” stated the cooperative of dairy farmers.

According to county tax documents, Prospect Valley Dairy LLC owns the property, with the owners listed at a Bakersfield, California address. Attempts to reach them via phone at the California address were not immediately answered.
