Brooklyn Beckham has shown that his once-prominent tattoo tribute to his mother, Victoria Beckham, is now barely visible, after sharing a fresh look at the floral cover-up on social media.
The aspiring chef, 27, who is said to be at odds with members of his high-profile family, originally had the words “mama’s boy” inked across his left pec in 2018.
Brooklyn first appeared to begin disguising the sentimental tattoo last summer, when the altered design was visible during a Glamour magazine photoshoot — but the transformation has since gone further.
In a new shirtless selfie posted on Wednesday, he gave followers a closer look at the updated ink, a floral piece thought to be inspired by a drawing of wife Nicola Peltz Beckham’s bridal bouquet from their 2022 wedding.
The latest tattoo update comes amid ongoing reports of a Beckham family rift, with Brooklyn also believed to have covered other inkings that once referenced his relatives.

Brooklyn Beckham’s tattoo tribute to his estranged mother Victoria is now almost completely covered, after he shared the updated floral design on his left pec on social media on Wednesday. The image appears reversed because it was taken as a selfie.

The aspiring chef, 27, who has reportedly fallen out with his famous family, previously had “mama’s boy” tattooed across his left pec in 2018.

Brooklyn first appeared to reveal the early stages of covering his “mama’s boy” tattoo last summer, when the altered ink was visible in a Glamour magazine shoot.
He erased a large anchor with the word ‘Dad’ on his upper right arm, as well as a design with the date ‘1975’ in reference to David’s year of birth.
The anchor tattoo is now partially covered with a series of non-descript shapes and a star.
He still has another handwritten inking which says, ‘love you Bust,’ short for Buster, the nickname his father gave him as a boy – though the writing looks as if it has been lasered: it is faded and far less prominent than it was a few years ago.
Meanwhile, David’s birth year also no longer seemed to be visible.
He still has his ‘brotherhood’ tattoo on his right leg, as well as a ballerina tattoo on his calf which honours his younger sister Harper, 15.
His ‘brotherhood’ tattoo matches the ones his brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, had in 2023, after visiting the fine line tattoo artist Pablo – who goes by his online username Certified Letter Boy.
While Brooklyn and Romeo both have the design on their leg, Cruz has it on his hand.
Brooklyn also previously had his siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper’s names tattooed on his fingers, but images showed these have been covered up.
Brooklyn cut ties with his family in a scathing social media statement in January, declaring he has no plans to reconcile with his parents David, 51, and Victoria, 52, and accusing them of ‘controlling him for most of his life’.
Brooklyn also claimed David and Victoria attempted to drive a wedge between him and his wife Nicola Peltz and left him embarrassed when his mother danced ‘inappropriately’ with him during the first dance at his wedding.
He has not acknowledged any of his parents’ birthdays or milestones publicly since their rift began, around the time of David’s 50th celebrations, and failed to share a post for Father’s Day this year.

This is not the only tattoo tribute Brooklyn has covered over as he erased his large anchor with the word ‘Dad’ on his upper right arm and ‘Love you Bust’ is now barely visible

It also appears that Brooklyn has begun to remove his tattoo tributes to his siblings Romeo and Cruz, as a thick line was visible on his ring finger

It was previously reported that Brooklyn was ‘furious’ that his parents had included him in a Father’s Day post and wants them to ‘leave him alone’.
Shortly before Christmas last year, Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram, while his lawyers later wrote to the Beckhams’ team requesting all communication be conducted through legal representatives.
The Daily Mail contacted Brooklyn’s representatives for comment at the time.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn was accused of selling his family out for a big sum following the release of his two-part DoorDash commercial.
Five months after declaring that he and Nicola wanted privacy, Brooklyn was savaged by fans, who branded him ‘classless’ after he collaborated with the food delivery firm for the sponsored video.
In the teaser clip for the advert released on June 15, Brooklyn smirks and says: ‘You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home… It’s a long story.’
It has been taken as mocking towards his parents and profiting off their name, while friends of the Beckhams have said the pair are ‘devastated and inconsolable’ by the advert.
