A forensic investigation commissioned by Blaze News has identified former U.S. Capitol Police officer Shauni Rae Kerkhoff as a near-perfect match for the pipe bomb suspect involved in the January 6, 2021 Capitol Hill bombing, according to multiple intelligence sources.

Kerkhoff’s unique walking style, characterized by her stride, a slight limp, and distinctive pattern, was scrutinized using advanced software, resulting in a 94% match. Experts who visually assessed the footage suggested a similarity as high as 98%.

Having spent over four years with the Capitol Police before transitioning to campus security for the CIA, Kerkhoff aligns with the profile created by investigators studying the pipe bomb suspect. This individual, who wore a hoodie, allegedly planted explosive devices near the Democratic National Committee and the Capitol Hill Club on the eve of the Capitol riot. Video comparisons of her movements with those of the suspect have intensified theories of possible insider involvement in the bomb plot.

Former FBI Special Agent Kyle Seraphin informed Blaze News about a curious withdrawal of investigative teams from near the suspect’s residence in Falls Church, Virginia, just days after January 6. Seraphin remarked, “The FBI had positioned us just a door away from the pipe bomber early on, only to pull us back without a clear reason. This suggests a cover-up has been in play from the start. They were complicit.”

Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund stated he had no knowledge of any officer participating in the bomb placements and confirmed there was no approval from the chief’s office for such acts.

Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) has been outspoken about the federal agencies’ approach to the pipe bomb inquiry. On November 8, he tweeted, “America awakens today to the realization that Capitol Police and CIA orchestrated the January 6 pipe bombs, with the FBI concealing it for over four years. I interrogated FBI Director Wray, ATF Director Dettlebach, and FBI Assistant Director (for DC) D’Antuono under oath. They all feigned ignorance.”

Massie’s statement highlights growing congressional frustration with the apparent lack of progress and accountability, fueling speculation about official involvement and cover-ups in one of the most enduring mysteries related to the January 6 events.

The FBI, despite offering a $490,000 reward and extensive investigations, has yet to solve the pipe bomb case. Former FBI Director Christopher Wray described the probe as exhaustive but refused to provide details, citing an active investigation.

The possible identification of a Capitol Police insider as the suspect involved in planting pipe bombs shifts the narrative surrounding January 6, challenging the long-held depiction of the event solely as an external insurrection by supporters of then-President Trump.

The revelations have intensified demands for transparency and justice as millions continue to seek answers about the full scope of what happened that day, including potential federal complicity or negligence.
