Conor Kennedy has been seen spending time with friends in Rio de Janeiro ahead of an extravagant three-day wedding celebration that will feature the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, Our News Outlet can reveal.
The 32-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was photographed enjoying the sunshine at the exclusive five-star Hotel Fasano on Friday, days before his wedding festivities with Brazilian pop star Giulia Be.
Kennedy kept his look relaxed, wearing white linen trousers with a black T-shirt as he chatted with friends and family on the luxury hotel’s rooftop.
Later, he was seen outside the lobby carrying a takeaway coffee and checking his phone while waiting for a taxi to collect him.
The appearance came as Kennedy and his 27-year-old fiancée, whose full name is Giulia Bourguignon Marinho, prepared to begin their lavish wedding celebrations in her native Brazil.
It remains unknown whether the Ipanema Beach hotel, where the most expensive suites can cost up to $2,500 per night, is serving as the couple’s wedding headquarters.
Kennedy and Be, who became engaged in 2024, quietly formalized their marriage with a small civil ceremony in Los Angeles in March.
However, Be, a Latin Grammy nominee, revealed in an interview with a Brazilian magazine earlier this year that the couple’s main wedding events would take place in Rio de Janeiro during October.

According to an earlier report by Gshow, the celebrations are expected to feature a welcome gathering, a family blessing beneath Christ the Redeemer, a religious service at a local church and a large reception.
“One of the first things I said to Conor was: ‘My love, I love you, but I’m not getting married in Massachusetts,’” the singer told the outlet, referencing the Kennedy family’s home state and its well-known Cape Cod compound.
“I think Brazil is one of the best places to get married. We know how to celebrate; we give ourselves completely, and the party doesn’t end at 10 p.m. That was something very important that I wanted to show people.”
The guest list for the weekend wedding has not been disclosed, and it is unclear which of Kennedy’s famous relatives will make the trip to Rio.
Be did reveal, however, that Kennedy’s side of the family—including his father and actress stepmother Cheryl Hines—accounts for around 150 guests.
“I’m from the most beautiful city in the world, and this was my only opportunity to bring his entire family and friends to Brazil. I wanted to show them the very best of the country, so I want to host an incredible party,” Be said.
“Imagine never having seen Christ the Redeemer and then seeing it for the first time at a wedding. It’s truly very special.”
The Los Angeles-based couple also said they had been working to combine their distinct backgrounds and traditions as they planned the wedding.

‘We wanted to adapt to things they’re used to doing at their weddings. So, speeches, for example, are something that’s now a bit more common at Brazilian weddings, but it wasn’t always like that. In the US, speeches are the most important thing,’ Be said.
‘Yes, especially in my family,’ Kennedy chimed in.
The marriage celebration comes just weeks after he was put on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s most wanted list for traveling to Ukraine to fight with the International Legion in 2022.
It is unclear if Brazil has an extradition agreement with Russia.
Kennedy, who is the grandson of Sen. Robert F Kennedy and the great-nephew of President John F Kennedy, started dating his bride the year he went to Ukraine.
He proposed before Be, who has several Portuguese chart-toppers, opted to relocate from Brazil to the US.
Sharing news of the proposal on Instagram, the pop star, who boasts 2.5 million followers, posted a video of the couple dancing in a candlelit room as she sobbed and exclaimed: ‘This is the best day ever!’

Conor and Taylor had a brief romance back in 2012 during which she was spotted frequently at the Kennedy family’s famed Cape Cod home.
Before proposing to Be, Kennedy also had prior dalliances with model Michaela Vybohova and was spotted with Ava Dash, daughter of Damon Dash, in 2021.
