A recent study by FinanceBuzz has listed out “the most boring cities in America” — and it turns out the No. 1 pick is somewhere in Florida.

Specifically, the study assigned an “excitement score” for each city, taking into account elements such as local attractions, outdoor activities, nightlife, celebrations, and more.

“What makes a city boring? While most urban centers have their unique charm, some are less vibrant when it comes to culture, nightlife, and activities,” the study states. “With this in mind, the FinanceBuzz team gathered data on 75 of America’s largest cities and ranked them from most to least boring.”

Overall, the most boring city in the country was determined to be Jacksonville, with a staggeringly low score of only 14.3

Spanning nearly 875 square miles, Jacksonville is the largest city by area in the United States but only ranks as the 10th largest by population. This results in vast areas where the population density is relatively low, naturally leading to fewer features such as nightclubs and award-winning restaurants.

In fact, 54% of all restaurants in Jacksonville are chains, tied for the fourth-highest rate in the country, while the city has the third-lowest rate of nightclubs and fourth-lowest rate of concert venues per capita of any city.”

It wasn’t the only Florida city to perform poorly, though. The state’s capitol, Tallahassee, also managed to find a top 10 position down at No. 9.

While Tallahassee is a major college town, the has no award-winning food, few sports teams to watch, and low scores for both concert venues and must-see attractions.

But it’s not all doom and gloom in the Sunshine State. Miami actually turned out to be the second-most exciting city in the country, followed closely by Orlando at No. 4.

Miami earned particularly high marks thanks to its bustling food scene, with a high rate of Michelin-recognized restaurants, tons of tourists, and plenty of local attractions.

These were much the same reasons for the City Beautiful’s placement, too, as Orlando boasts several theme parks, as well as a suite of smaller parks and attractions.

Meanwhile, the full Florida ranking (and each city’s “excitement score”) is as follows:

    • No. 1: Jacksonville — 14.3

    • No. 9: Tallahassee — 20.5

    • No. 56: Tampa — 51.6

    • No. 72: Orlando — 68.1

    • No. 74: Miami — 71.7
