President Donald Trump reinforced his reasoning for expelling Jeffrey Epstein from his Florida residence, disclosing that the disgraced financier acted “inappropriately” long before his legal troubles.

While addressing journalists on Air Force 1 in Scotland on Tuesday, Trump elaborated that Epstein “stole” personnel from his Mar-a-Lago property years ago, which led to their eventual split.

“He took employees,” Trump stated. “I told him, ‘Stop doing that,’ as they were my workers. He went further and took more. That marked the end for him with us.”

The Supreme Court is scheduled to discuss taking up Maxwell’s appeal on Sept. 29. 

Moreover, Maxwell’s defense team has indicated she is willing to “speak honestly and openly, in public,” if she receives a pardon from Trump — something the president noted he has the authority to consider, though he has yet to receive such a request.

“She is keen to present the truth and address the numerous misconceptions and falsehoods that have overshadowed this case since its inception,” Maxwell’s attorneys have previously commented.
