A Jewish doctor posted “seriously offensive” and “inflammatory” messages after the Southport attack, claiming the NHS hospital where she worked would be “targeted and looted” by “Islamists”, a medical tribunal has heard.
Dr Parmis Lamei Javan, who has previously spoken about converting to Judaism after being raised as a Muslim, is alleged to have made the comments as riots spread across England following the fatal stabbing of three girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in July 2024.
After resigning from her position following an investigation, she allegedly made further “untrue” claims in a YouTube interview, saying she had been punished for describing Hamas as an “Islamist death cult” on social media.
While working at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow, north London, Dr Lamei Javan allegedly posted on X: “Tonight the hospital I am working at will be targeted and looted by the riots in the UK.
“I hope the staff and patients are kept safe.”
In a follow-up post in August 2024, she allegedly wrote: “I am getting a lot of hateful comments for simply telling the truth that my hospital has been threatened by the Islamists.”
The doctor also claimed that “even the local Labour Party” had issued a statement about threats to the hospital. She added: “I pray the police will push them away but who knows what will happen.
“This is NOT a reflection of the British patriots. This is a judgement on those wanting to wage war on the West.”

She is also alleged to have claimed that security staff had been warned by “organised rioters” and that the maternity ward would be their first target.
“It’s already stressful enough being pregnant let alone people trashing your ward whilst you are in labor,” she allegedly wrote in another X post.
Dr Lamei Javan is appearing before a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service misconduct hearing in Manchester. She is accused of making inflammatory statements that may have caused alarm among patients and/or members of the public.
The charges allege that her comments were “seriously offensive” and motivated by racial or religious hostility.
London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, which operates Northwick Park Hospital, launched an investigation into the posts.
However, Dr Lamei Javan allegedly refused to co-operate and continued publishing “dishonest” statements online, the tribunal was told.
Among them was an alleged claim that she had been permanently excluded from work “for simply condemning Hamas on Twitter”.
Mark Monaghan, representing the General Medical Council, said the doctor had also alleged that an HR employee reprimanded her using “anti-Semitic tropes”.
Mr Monaghan told the hearing that the claims were “simply a fabrication” and a “deliberate lie”.
“The GMC say that a false allegation of anti-Semitic abuse on the part of a member of Trust staff could not be, in reality, anything other than a post that brings the trust into disrepute,” he said.
Mr Monaghan said Dr Lamei Javan had not been excluded but placed on restricted practice and had eventually resigned in December 2024.
Furthermore, the doctor had not been investigated for condemning Hamas but for her posts alleging her hospital was going to be targeted, he added.
Mr Monaghan said that in an episode of the YouTube channel ‘Golda’s Girls’, in March 2025, the doctor repeated her claims that she’d been punished by the trust for condemning Hamas and calling them an ‘Islamist death cult’.
In another ‘untrue’ claim, she said she’d been accused of having a ‘mental illness’ and that the trust’s HR department had behaved ‘like Nazis’.
Moreover, the doctor claimed they were ‘true Hamas supporters’ who had probably been hired by Qatar which had a ‘stake’ in the Trust.
It is alleged these comments were also ‘seriously offensive’ and motivated by racial or religious hostility.
During the interview, she revealed that she’d been born a Muslim in Iran but had moved to Australia while she was still a baby.
Dr Lamei Javan said she had converted to Judaism because of her father who had hidden his Jewish identity and assimilated because in the Middle East ‘non-Muslims were treated as second-class citizens’.
She later moved to the UK and stayed there for seven years while completing her medical qualification at the University of Central Lancashire.
The tribunal will also consider various other allegations she failed to follow the trust’s policy in respect of her absences from work, was dishonest about one absence and failed to co-operate with the trust investigation.
