Julia Stiles confronted Andy Cohen on Wednesday’s episode of Dancing With The Stars after the Bravo host previously claimed she was “not the greatest dancer.”
The 45-year-old actress, who made her official debut on season 35 of DWTS this week, discussed Cohen’s remark while rehearsing with her professional partner, Ezra Sosa.
During his Radio Andy show last year, Cohen asked, “Can we all just agree that Julia Stiles is not the greatest dancer on the planet?”
When Stiles asked Sosa whether he knew Cohen, the dancer replied, “Yes, that diva!”
Stiles told her partner that Cohen’s “quote” had been “imprinted in my brain” ever since he made the comment.
The actress then declared with confidence, “We’re gonna win the Mirrorball, sit on Andy’s couch, and be like, ‘Hey.’”

Julia Stiles called out Andy Cohen on Wednesday’s episode of Dancing With The Stars after he previously said she was “not the greatest dancer.”

During Wednesday’s episode of WWHL, Cohen addressed Stiles’ comments and apologized to the actress.
Later that evening, Stiles and Sosa performed a quickstep to Dolly Parton’s classic song “9 to 5” in front of the live audience.
The pair earned 18 out of 30 points, while judge Derek Hough also brought up Cohen’s earlier criticism after their performance.
Defending Stiles, Hough told Cohen, “You can eat it!”
Sosa said during night two of the season 35 premiere, “I definitely feel like when it comes to stuff like that, you put it out on the dance floor and that’s exactly what she did,” according to Extra.
Stiles added that Cohen “probably never thought that I would hear it.”
“He’s a nice guy. He was just making a joke. It was just kind of a cheap joke, and so it motivated me,” she explained.
The 10 Things I Hate About You star then addressed Cohen directly: “Mr. Andy Cohen, respect, no hard feelings. You’re welcome to come to the ballroom, and thank you for the motivation.”
Sosa added, “We’ll get you a front-row seat to quality dancing, darling.”

Stiles and Sosa scored 18 out of 30 for their performance, with judge Derek Hough joining in on the joke about Cohen’s criticism.

Stiles said Cohen was “a nice guy” who had made “a cheap joke” that ultimately motivated her.
And during Wednesday’s episode of WWHL, Cohen addressed being called out by Stiles and offered the actress an apology.
“Julia, I am so sorry. I am the last person who should be giving anyone feedback on their dancing,” Cohen said.
Cohen also applauded Stiles’ performance on DWTS, telling her that she “killed it.”
‘You did amazing tonight. I know you’re going to have a great run. And this diva gives all of you permission to flood my inbox with the 10 things you hate about me.’
Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Stiles and Cohen for comment, but has yet to hear back.
Stiles has showed off her dance skills in the past, including when she took on a lead role in the 2001 movie Save The Last Dance.
However, for more difficult dance sequences, the actress recently revealed that she had used a body double.
Both she and Sosa uploaded a TikTok video where they gave honest answers to questions such as, ‘Did you actually go to Juilliard?’

‘Julia, I am so sorry. I am the last person who should be giving anyone feedback on their dancing,’ he said; seen in June in Newport Beach

The question appeared to refer to Stiles’ character from Save The Last Dance who auditioned to get into the school.
The actress admitted that she never attended and the storyline was simply just for the movie.
Another was ‘But you danced in the movie right,’ to which Stiles and Sosa both shook their heads.
‘It was mostly a body double,’ Stiles revealed in text added towards the top of the video.
And after taking a break from dancing, the actress has returned to performing in the new season of DWTS.
