Kylie Jenner shocked fans after suffering an awkward moment with her bestie Rosalia at Paris Fashion Week.

Jenner, 28, and the Spanish singer, 33, were spotted sitting together in the front row as they attended the Schiaparelli Spring/Summer 2026 show, where Kendall Jenner featured in a closing walk on Thursday.

Though the two are well-known for their close friendship, an unexpected moment occurred when Kylie placed her hand on Rosalia’s knee, leading to the La Fama artist pushing her away with her shoulder. 

The interaction was captured in a video by Vogue, who shared it with their 51 million followers on Instagram.

‘Did she move her out of the way?’ commented one shocked follower.

‘Is it just me or did Rosalia just shrug Kylie’s hand off her!???’ wrote another.

‘This is so awkward,’ wrote a third, while another commented, ‘Most awkward clip ever.’

However, others in the comment section had a different theory behind Rosalia’s supposed snub.

Despite their well-known friendship, the situation took a sudden twist when Kylie put her hand on Rosalia’s knee, prompting a shoulder push from the artist.

One observer noted, ‘You can see that Rosalia was nervously shaking her leg, and Kylie touched her to make her stop, as it’s quite bothersome. I know because I tend to shake my leg unconsciously when I’m anxious.’

‘The knee rapid shake means “I don’t want to be here.” Her face says it also. A very unhappy moment, and a caring friend,’ added a second.

The women have been friends since at least 2019, the same year Rosalia collaborated with Kylie’s then-boyfriend Travis Scott.

Rosalia also has a great relationship with Kendall, but she seems to have become closer to Kylie in recent years.  

The pair often attend Fashion Shows together and were even seen hand-in-hand at last year’s Met Gala in New York. 

‘She’s a very good friend of mine and I hope that tonight I see her. Yeah, I love her a lot, she knows it,’ Rosalia said at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

Rosalía recently provided a rare comment regarding her dating life, specifically when questioned about publicly defining her sexuality following her involvement with Hunter Schafer.

When asked if she felt compelled to come out as queer or otherwise, the Spanish singer told Elle: ‘No, I do not pressure myself.’

‘I think of freedom. That’s what guides me,’ she explained of how she navigates dating in the public eye. 

After their five-month relationship concluded in 2019, the two-time Grammy winner and Schafer have maintained a close friendship and have recently started working together as peers.

Earlier this year, the amicable exes recently teamed up to shoot scenes for the long-awaited third season of Euphoria, in which is set to premiere in 2026.

In 2024, Schafer, 26, confirmed to GQ that they ‘have really beautiful friendship’ after splitting romantically. 

Rosalia hasn’t explicitly labeled her sexuality, but has previously been linked to The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White and was engaged to Rauw Alejandro.
