Letitia Dean’s strategy for slimming down by four dress sizes has been disclosed, after her impressive weight loss in the newest EastEnders trailer astonished fans.

The 57-year-old, who plays Sharon Watts in the soap, showcased her incredible figure in a sneak peek at an upcoming episode.

Letitia wowed in black skin-tight trousers and a floral fitted blouse as she got out of a taxi outside the Queen Vic with her son Albie.

And the co-owner of The Boxing Den locked eyes with her dad Den’s murderer Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan).

Besides the notably tense reunion that has people talking, Letitia’s body makeover, shifting from 10st 4lbs to 8st 3lbs, has captivated viewers.

The soap legend has managed to drop four dress sizes after eating ‘grilled skinless chicken’ and ‘lots of greens’, after plenty of yo-yo dieting.

Talking to Closer magazine, Letitia said: ‘It started with Strictly Come Dancing because I felt great by the end of the show and the live tour.

‘But the main reason I wanted to do something about my figure was that I was so sick of extreme dieting and my weight yo-yoing.

‘I just woke up one morning, and I’d had enough.

‘For years and years – as long as I can remember – my weight had yo-yoed up and down.

‘I’d go on fad diets like Atkins or I’d only eat eggs.’

Many rushed to Instagram to share the love and praise Letitia’s streamlined new look.

‘She looks incredible.’

‘So glad Queen Sharon is back. She is looking [fire emojis]’.

Back in 2014, Letitia (pictured) slimmed down four dress sizes by consuming ‘grilled skinless chicken’ and ‘plenty of greens,’ following numerous bouts of yo-yo dieting.

‘Leticia Dean looks stunning.’

Letitia has admitted that she’s yo-yo dieted over the years – and even managed to lose a stone in just a number of weeks.

However, she realised that it wasn’t a sustainable way for her to keep the weight off.

The actress now consumes just 1,300 calories a day.

As well as having a balanced diet, she takes part in boxing and running to keep fit.

The NHS website states that the average recommended daily calorie intake is approximately 2,000 calories for women and 2,500 calories for men.

Letitia has been in EastEnders since she joined the cast 40 years ago.

She had a number of stints in the soap, between 1985 and 1995, 2001 and 2006 and from 2012 to today.

The actress has appeared in plenty of other TV shows over the years.

Some include Casualty, The Bill, Doctors and Drop The Head Donkey.

Not only that, she’s appeared on Going Live!, Splash, Live & Kicking, This Is Your Life and Strictly as herself.

On stage she’s also landed roles in High School Musical, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk and Loot.
