Lily Collins’ fans voiced their frustration online after the actress appeared to be jostled by a prominent chief executive while seated in the front row at a major Paris Fashion Week runway show.
The 37-year-old star was sitting beside Heated Rivalry actor Hudson Williams at Balenciaga’s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2026/2027 presentation.
In a brief video shared on X, the Emily in Paris actress appeared to be bumped by Italian Kering CEO Luca de Meo as he took his seat next to her.
Collins seemed momentarily squeezed in the packed front row, shifting slightly closer to Williams, 25, as de Meo settled into place.
Daily Mail said it contacted representatives for both Collins and de Meo for comment, but had not received a response.
The clip quickly drew reaction from Collins’ supporters, with one user writing on social media: “who just shoulder checked lily collins [crying emoji]”

Despite the moment, Collins and de Meo appeared to be on friendly terms later, smiling together as they posed for a photo
‘Spatial awareness is dead. People really just shove like nobody else exists around them,’ another X user said while another fan brutally wrote: ‘I wonder how some men sleep at night with that kind of attitude, not a single gentleness in them. How do they even find a wife??’
Regardless, there seemed to be no issue between Collins and de Meo as they later smiled while posing for a photo together.
The actress looked fashionable as ever as she sported a black mini dress with long leather which reached her biceps along with matching heels.
Her bob was worn down in a middle-part as she accentuated her porcelain skin with complementary make-up topped off with a swipe of pink lip.
Not seen at the fashion show was her husband Charlie McDowell who did accompany her to Paris.
No doubt the two enjoyed a welcome break from parenting duties as they welcomed their daughter Tove via surrogate last year.
The actress and Charlie – the son of actor Malcolm McDowell – confirmed their engagement in September 2020, after meeting on the set of his film Gilded Rage the previous year.
They exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado, in September 2021.

After production is wrapped in Greece, the cast and crew will then fly to Monaco before heading back to Paris.
