Madison Beer and Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert are taking their relationship to the next level, confirming their engagement after roughly a year together.
The singer and the NFL star revealed the milestone in a joint social media post on Tuesday, with Beer keeping the caption sweet and simple: “Meet my fiancé.”
For Herbert, the engagement announcement arrives just as his offseason comes to a close, with the Chargers quarterback due to report for the first day of training camp on Tuesday ahead of the 2026 NFL season.
The couple first sparked romance speculation in August 2025, when they were seen together at one of Beer’s music video shoots before later heading out to a restaurant.
Not long after, Beer and Herbert were photographed holding hands in Los Angeles, just one day after he guided the Chargers to a major victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Brazil in their 2025 season opener.
Their relationship became increasingly public from that point on, with Beer frequently spotted supporting Herbert from the stands during the NFL season as the pair stepped out together more often.

Experts think Herbert may have spent up to $640,000 on the ring.
‘From the images shared, the engagement ring appears to feature a large elongated cushion-cut diamond, set on a slim band, most likely in platinum or white gold,’ Laura Taylor, a jeweller at Lorel Diamonds, said.
‘The centre stone looks to be around 5 to 6 carats, particularly from how much of her finger it covers in the photos. It’s a size that we’ve come to expect from celebrity engagements nowadays, where the diamond takes centre stage.
‘I would estimate it to be worth between $400,000 and $640,000 depending on the exact carat weight, colour and clarity of the diamond.’
The singer praised the impact Herbert has had on her life in an interview on the ‘Call her Daddy’ podcast last December.
‘I feel, like, taken care of in a way that I can break down and like I have someone to lean on,’ she said.
‘When I’m having a convo with my boyfriend, my hair could be on fire and I wouldn’t notice. And to be honest with you, he’s the first person I’ve ever felt that way about.
‘Like, the world could be ending around me and I wouldn’t realize. It’s just so mature. He came into my life at the perfect time. Our first date was literally at my house because we were scared to go in public.’

Herbert, who is midway through a five-year, $262.5million contract with the Chargers, has been equally as flattering about how meeting Beer has changed him and during the NFL offseason has supporter her on her worldwide ‘The Locket’ tour this year.
Beer traveled throughout Europe in support of her new record before embarking on a North America tour that saw her headline Madison Square Garden.
In a social media post to celebrate Beer’s 27th birthday, Herbert wrote: ‘Happy birthday to my favorite person of all time. I love you so much. You’ve changed my life forever.’
But for all of his happiness outside of the game, Herbert heads into 2026 with a major point to prove on the field.
Last season, the Chargers’ campaign ended with a brutal 16-3 loss against the New England Patriots, taking Herbert’s postseason record to 0-3 with the team.
The Chargers start the new season on September 13 against Arizona Cardinals. The Super Bowl is held in Los Angeles next year – extra incentive for Herbert to get over his postseason jinx.
