New LA mayor's race poll drops -- as undecided voters give Spencer Pratt huge surge

Spencer Pratt is rapidly gaining momentum in the race to become Los Angeles’ next mayor, as revealed by a recent poll.

The survey, conducted by Emerson College and published on Wednesday, shows the former reality television star securing the backing of 22% of voters.

Currently, Pratt is second only to the incumbent Mayor Karen Bass, who holds 30% support. Meanwhile, Nithya Raman, a city councilmember with socialist ties, is in third place with 19%.

According to Emerson’s poll conducted between May 9-10, all three candidates have seen significant increases in support as previously undecided voters begin to make their choices ahead of the June 2 primary.

The percentage of undecided voters has drastically decreased, dropping from a substantial 51% in March to just 16% now.

Back in March, Bass enjoyed a comfortable lead with 20% backing, while Pratt and Raman were each polling at only half of that figure.
