Pop star's tickets slashed to fast food prices amid tour flop

Resale prices for tickets to Madison Beer’s Locket tour have fallen to surprisingly low levels, drawing attention online.

The 27-year-old pop singer, who is dating Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, has been on the road since May in support of her latest album.

Earlier this month, one X user joked, “Should I see Madison Beer or go to Taco Bell?” alongside a screenshot showing resale general admission tickets listed for $12.87 and $14.04.

Ticketmaster joined the conversation with a playful response: “Concert or Crunchwrap… either way, both are gonna serve and ur gonna get fed.”

Another user checked the listings and returned to the thread with a screenshot showing even lower prices, including one ticket listed at $7.14. “OMFG the fact that this is real,” they wrote.

One fan, however, noted that the steep discounts may not be unusual for last-minute resale markets, explaining that sellers often drop prices on the day of a concert in an effort to offload tickets.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Beer for comment.

Another social media user showed support for the songstress, calling her production a ’10/10.’

‘See Madison,’ the person advised, noting, ‘I saw her in Chicago the other night and she put on 10/10 show.’

Tickets on Seat Geek for Beer’s upcoming July 13 Madison Square Garden gig range from $50-$1,130.

Despite the single-digit resale prices, Beer took to Instagram on Tuesday night with gratitude for her latest audience.

‘Thank u sweet Philly. What a fun night,’ she wrote in an Instagram Stories post after performing at The Met in Philadelphia.

Beer rose to fame as a teenager when Justin Bieber shared a link to one of her music covers.

She released her debut single, Melodies, in 2013. In 2018, the singer dropped her debut EP, As She Pleases.

The star’s next show is on Thursday in Detroit, where she will take the stage at the Fox Theatre.

Beer published a memoir called The Half of It in April 2023.

Inside the pages of the book, she discusses a moment when she contemplated suicide at age 16 in 2015.

An extract, originally published by People, reads: ‘Once, on a particularly heavy day, I climbed over the edge of my balcony in LA and stood there, a million thoughts running through my head as I stared down at the ground, my eyes going in and out of focus.’

The harrowing experience took place at the juncture of her split from her record label and having her private, explicit photos leak online.

The pop star told the magazine three years ago, ‘I really wanted to write this book now because I thought sharing some of the ups and downs in my life might be able to help other people navigate and relate.’

Beer wrote in one part of the literary work, ‘While negotiating the details of going independent was rocky, the emotional turmoil of being dropped was harder to work through.’

She candidly added, ‘It wasn’t just a bump in my career – it was a hit to my personal life, too.

‘Coupled with the trauma of having my nudes leaked, it completely shattered the image I had of Los Angeles and the industry.’
