Princess Eugenie has shared a fresh glimpse of her newborn daughter, Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank, as the baby girl marks one month since her arrival.
The King’s niece, 36, welcomed her third child with husband Jack Brooksbank, 40, on August 3 at a hospital in Lisbon.
Eugenie, the youngest daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, posted a tender Instagram photo today showing her looking lovingly at little Adelaide.
Alongside the sweet image, the princess wrote: “4 weeks of you!!”
Another photo shows her sons, August, five, and Ernest, three, lying on a bed in matching pyjamas as they gaze affectionately at their baby sister.
A third snapshot appears to capture Eugenie cradling Adelaide while August and Ernest kiss the newborn on either side of her head.
She captioned the family moment: “Happy days with my babies.”
Adelaide, who weighed 6lb 9oz at birth, was given a name understood to honour the late Queen.

She said her daughter’s name takes inspiration from people she and her husband ‘love and admire, past and present’.
She wrote on Instagram earlier this month: ‘2 weeks ago today we welcomed our girl to the world. And since then we’ve had the most special, cosy and love-filled time.
‘We are so happy to share Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank.
‘Named after three people we love and admire past and present, including her Great-Grandmother who we hold close in our hearts. Her name is part of English and Portuguese history, two places we love and call home.’
Referring to the couple’s other two children, she added: ‘Augie and Ernie are already the best big brothers.’
The name Adelaide was partly inspired by Queen Adelaide (1792-1849), married to William IV.
Eugenie wore two diamond wheat-ear brooches as hair slides at the evening reception of her wedding, which were commissioned by William IV for Queen Adelaide.
The name Annina is understood to have been inspired by a personal connection.

Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank divide their time between a picturesque villa in Portugal and a cottage at Kensington Palace.
The baby, who will not be an HRH, is born 15th in line to the throne, with her great-uncle, the Duke of Edinburgh, moving down to 16th place.
She will also be the 15th great-grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II, and the third to be born since her death in 2022.
The new arrival will be the fifth grandchild of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, following the birth of Princess Beatrice’s daughter Athena Mapelli Mozzi in January last year.
Eugenie and Jack married at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle in October 2018, and welcomed their first child, August, on February 9, 2021.
His younger brother Ernest was born on May 30, 2023.
Eugenie is known to be a doting parent who has repeatedly spoken about the joys of motherhood.
