Four people have been found dead in a multimillion-dollar home in San Francisco as police investigate their “suspicious” deaths.

Officers made a grim discovery at 1:23 p.m. on Wednesday during a welfare check on the 900 block of Monterey Boulevard, situated in an upscale San Francisco neighborhood, according to the police.

The four individuals, likely members of the same family residing in the house, were found deceased. Sources informed KTVU-TV that the situation might be a murder-suicide, although the San Francisco police currently consider it a case of suspicious deaths.

“Such incidents are extremely uncommon in this area,” remarked Officer Robert Rueca, a spokesperson from the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD). “This neighborhood rarely experiences any incidents of this nature.”
