In Riverdale, Illinois, authorities are actively searching for a suspect accused of abducting four children from the southern suburbs during the early hours of Saturday morning.

Responding to a call around 1:30 a.m., Riverdale police arrived at the scene on the 13600 block of Lowe Avenue, following reports of a kidnapping linked to a domestic dispute.

The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Austin Bell, allegedly commandeered a vehicle with four children inside: 10-year-old Nia Hill, 8-year-old Noah Hill, and 7-year-old twins Nolan and Nova Hill. Authorities stated that Bell is not related to the children.

An Amber Alert has been activated in the search for the missing children and the vehicle, described as a silver 2010 Acura MDX with Illinois license plate FE 60619.

Nolan is described as having a height of 4 feet, weighing 54 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. At the time of the abduction, he was wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.

Nova is similarly 4 feet tall, weighing 64 pounds, and also has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a blue jacket paired with blue jeans.

Noah weighs 60 pounds, is 4 feet tall and has brown eyes and black hair. Noah is wearing a green hoodie, black pants and blue shoes.

Nia weighs 90 pounds, is 4 feet tall and has brown eyes and black braided ponytail hair. Nia is wearing an orange t-shirt and black joggers.

The suspect, Bell, has brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot-7 and weighs 215 pounds.

Bell was last seen wearing black jogging pants, a black varsity jacket with white stitching, and black and white gym shoes.

Police asked anyone with information to call them at 708-841-2203 or dial 911.

“The Riverdale Police Department is using every available resource to locate these children and bring them home safely. We are working closely with our local, state, and federal law enforcement partners, as well as the community, to follow every lead and spare no effort. Our priority is the safe return of these children, and we are asking anyone with information, no matter how small, to contact us immediately,” said Riverdale Police Chief Mark Kozeluh.
