Foolhardy Spanish motorbike gang member sets himself on fire before jumping into sea

A member of a motorcycle gang reportedly set himself alight before leaping from a platform into the sea in what appears to have been a dangerous stunt filmed for social media, according to dramatic footage circulating online.

The 20-year-old, believed to be linked to the unruly “little horse” gang, allegedly poured fuel on himself and ignited his black hoodie before jumping from a wall into the water at the Port of Valencia, Spanish newspaper Las Provincias reported last Wednesday.

The stunt, which has recently spread widely across social platforms, reportedly happened in front of the Ripoll refueling station.

Safety experts have urged others not to copy the act, warning that it could prove fatal and may result in severe third-degree burns.

Despite those risks, the incident was reportedly celebrated by an influencer who had promoted a biker gathering held in Valencia last Friday, the outlet said.

The young man involved is also said to be a well-known figure within the motorcycle group La Banda del Caballito, according to The Sun.

Members of the group are reportedly known for reckless motorbike riding, with some allegedly taking to the roads without licenses.

Clips shared online appear to show riders swerving through traffic and pulling wheelies on public roads.

They arrange meet-ups secretly, posing a headache to local law enforcement.

Earlier this month, a 12-year-old who was part of a group of 25 motorcyclists was caught driving one of the bikes, Telecinco reported.

The bikers were seen hurtling down the A-7 highway in Torrente before they were intercepted by a squad of cops.

The reckless youths ignored cops’ orders – and one yob even caused damage to an officer’s car.

Six motorcyclists were arrested in total – and some were under the influence of drugs, police said.

Cops have warned that the bikers could face up to two years in prison.
