Washington state stabbing rampage leaves 5 dead, including suspect shot by deputies

Authorities are currently delving into a violent incident in Washington state where five individuals lost their lives in a stabbing that occurred on a street Tuesday.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) has confirmed the tragic death of four adults in Purdy, alongside a 32-year-old male suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, as reported by FOX 13 Seattle.

According to the report, three of the victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the fourth victim passed away after being transported to the hospital.

Responding deputies shot the suspect, who was declared dead at the location.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the five deaths in Purdy, including that of the 32-year-old suspect, stemmed from a stabbing incident on Tuesday.

Officials revealed that the sequence of events began shortly after 8:45 a.m. local time when they received a call regarding a man illegally entering a home in Purdy, breaching a no-contact order.

Deputies were on the way to serve the order when multiple witnesses reported a man was “stabbing people” outside the house at about 9:30 a.m., according to the outlet.

The suspect was shot by deputies just three minutes later, authorities said.
