Ouch! Katie McGlynn, 27, has reportedly sliced open her foot after kicking the Glitterball trophy in a Strictly Come Dancing filming gaffe, on Friday (Pictured in 2019)
‘The injury is minimal, doesn’t require any further attention and she is completely fine’
It’s claimed that Rochdale-born Katie was unaware that the Glitterball on set was the genuine article, and so ‘pelted’ the ball with full force while wearing a pair of strappy heels.
A source told The Sun: ‘She was absolutely raging because nobody told her that it was a genuine glass glitterball. Her feet were properly exposed in high heels and she was dolled up to the nines for filming.
‘After giving it a brief run-up, she pelted the ball and was left in severe pain. There was glass everywhere and everyone was left in shock at what happened.
