Taylor Swift found herself in the spotlight at Game 4 of the NBA Finals, enjoying prime seating at Madison Square Garden. The pop icon was there to support the New York Knicks as they faced off against the San Antonio Spurs, which also happens to be the rumored venue for her upcoming wedding.
Interestingly, Swift attended the game without her fiancé, Travis Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs star was absent due to a mandatory three-day minicamp as part of his preparation for the 2026 NFL season. With Kelce occupied, Swift opted for a girls’ night out, supporting the Knicks as they endeavored to bounce back from a recent playoff loss and inch closer to securing the NBA Championship.
Accompanying her were close friends Alana and Este Haim, members of the pop-rock group HAIM. The trio took their courtside seats clad in amusing blue-and-orange T-shirts that paid tribute to the home team. Swift’s shirt amusingly read “Stevie Knicks,” a playful nod to the Fleetwood Mac legend, while Alana and Este sported shirts emblazoned with “Knickole Kidman” and “Knickelback,” respectively.
Swift’s appearance on the Madison Square Garden jumbotron was met with a largely positive reception from fans, a stark contrast to the reception former President Donald Trump received during Game 3, where he faced a chorus of boos.

The source also revealed that Taylor and Travis were considering Casa Cipriani in Manhattan’s Financial District as a potential venue prior to settling on the home of the Knicks, which can accommodate up to 22,000 people.
It’s unclear just how many people will be invited to witness them tie the knot, yet fans are expected to be invited to celebrate.
In the last round of the NBA playoffs, Swift joined her soon-to-be husband courtside as he cheered on his hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, against the Knicks.

Swift will not have to brace herself for a potentially awkward encounter with Donald Trump, nevertheless, after the president opted to skip Game 4 following his controversial appearance on Monday night.
Trump was emphatically booed when he was shown on the jumbotron during the national anthem, after his presence meant the secret service had shut down streets around the arena to accommodate the security procedures needed to keep him safe.
Fans were told to arrive hours before the game and were forced to line up around the streets in blazing sunshine to go through airport-style security under the watch of the secret service.
Trump and Swift infamously both attended the Super Bowl in New Orleans in February 2025, when the Philadelphia Eagles beat Kelce’s Chiefs 40-22.

Whatever the outcome on Wednesday at MSG, the NBA Finals will go to a fifth game back in San Antonio on Saturday night.
From there, a possible Game 6 is held in New York on Tuesday, June 16 and the decider would be played back in Texas on Friday, June 19.
