Taylor Swift announces shocking new career move live on GMA

Taylor Swift has announced two new docuseries charting her Eras Tour is set for release in just a few weeks.

The 35-year-old pop sensation, who unveiled her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, made the project announcements on Monday’s episode of Good Morning America.

Both of the new projects, The End of an Era docuseries and the Eras Tour Final Show will begin streaming December 12 on Disney Plus.

The teaser for the docuseries contained behind the scenes footage of Taylor’s historic tour.

‘People like to talk about phenomenons,’ she is heard saying. ‘Almost as if it was pieces falling into place. As if it just happened.

‘The Eras Tour wasn’t where everything just fell into place. It was during this tour that everyone involved, who had put in immense effort, gradually came together seamlessly.

‘We’ve shattered every possible record with this tour. The final chapter is just about closing it. I won’t be able to unwind. I can take my mind off it.’

‘It marked the end of an era, and we recognized it,’ Taylor remarked in a statement. ‘We aimed to capture every moment leading up to the climax of what was the most significant and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to document this tour and the various stories interwoven as it drew to a close.’
