Top chef, 29, accused of stealing intimate photos of his ex-girlfriend

A Pennsylvania restaurateur has been charged with allegedly taking intimate photos from his former girlfriend’s phone and sending them to her new boyfriend.

Alessandro Fiorello, 29, was arrested on September 2 after his ex-girlfriend, whose identity has not been disclosed, told police he had copied the private images from her cellphone.

The woman reported the alleged theft to Conshohocken police in August, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by The Philadelphia Inquirer.

She alleged that Fiorello, the executive chef and owner of several Italian restaurants in Philadelphia’s suburbs, accessed her phone in January while she was asleep. He allegedly copied the intimate photos by photographing them with his own device.

The woman told investigators she believed Fiorello had taken the images because, according to her account, he confronted her about them after she woke up.

The couple separated in May. Later, after she started seeing another man, Fiorello allegedly located her new boyfriend on Instagram and sent him the photos, the affidavit states.

When she confronted him, Fiorello allegedly told his former girlfriend she was “just mad [she] got exposed” and compared him to a “[expletive] serial killer,” according to the court document.

Fiorello faces charges of unlawfully disseminating intimate images, invasion of privacy, stalking and disorderly conduct.

At a preliminary hearing last week, however, two harassment counts and one stalking count were dismissed, The Inquirer reported.

Court documents show that Fiorello posted $10,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for November 4.

His attorney declined Our News Outlet’s request for comment.

The case comes as Fiorello prepares to open his third restaurant, Alessandro’s Enoteca, later this month.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reported that workers’ compensation law firm Pond Lehocky Giordano invested $1 million in Fiorello’s restaurant group earlier this year.

The investment was intended to help fund the launch of Alessandro’s Enoteca.

Fiorello was profiled by the Philadelphia Inquirer in January as he promoted the upcoming restaurant.

“This new place will be a step up from Wayne,” Fiorello said of Alessandro’s Enoteca, comparing it with his bar and grill in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

“Still approachable but more bar-focused, with a great bar scene,” he added.

The woman claimed Fiorello went through her cell phone in January while she was sleeping and duplicated the photos by taking pictures of them with his phone

His two other restaurants are Alessandro’s Wood Fired Italian Grill & Bar, located in Wayne, which opened in 2020, and Alessandro’s Pizzeria in West Chester, which opened in 2025.

According to his website, Fiorello was born to Italian immigrant parents and began his culinary career at 12.

He later led his father’s Fiorello’s Cafe before becoming a chef-owner himself in 2019.

Our News Outlet contacted the Conshohocken Police Department, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and Fiorello’s restaurant group for comment.
