Ken Paxton’s extramarital partner continues to reside in her affluent ex-husband’s luxurious estate, following the revelation of their controversial relationship, as disclosed by the Daily Mail.

Tracy Duhon, 57, resides at the stunning home on Lake Pontchartrain, near New Orleans, despite being recently divorced from wealthy husband Troy.

The pair have etched out a co-parenting agreement after she left the car dealership mogul last year, with it only being finalized last month.

The Daily Mail uncovered Paxton’s latest romantic entanglement, detailing their prolonged affair that began after meeting at the Kentucky Derby last year.

Several insiders confirmed that 57-year-old Duhon, mother of seven, played a key role in the breakdown of the Texas attorney general’s marriage to Senator Angela earlier this summer.

It is not the first time Paxton has been rocked by scandal, having been caught cheating on his wife in 2023 with his former mistress Laura Olsen.

Paxton faced impeachment from the state house, accused of office misconduct and accepting bribes while attempting to secure employment for his companion—a claim he consistently denied and from which he was ultimately cleared by the senate.

Duhon, a Christian influencer, has still been living in the family’s massive $2million lakefront home on the outskirts of New Orleans with the couple’s children since she split from Troy last year, the Daily Mail understands.

Her husband moved out around that time, but the pair have been working out a co-parenting system while their divorce was finalized last month, sources said.

The Daily Mail witnessed a flurry of activity at the mansion on Tuesday morning as cars came and went from the house.

Duhon’s son Joshua, who lives nearby, was among those driving into the gated community in a pick up truck, but it was not clear if his mother was home.

At least five vehicles were parked outside, including two flashy trucks hidden down the side of the building.

They included a Honda Pilot and a Dodge Ram SST 1500, both with Troy’s dealership’s number plates on them.

Sources told the Daily Mail that since she filed for divorce, Duhon began traveling all the time – a complete change to her amount of travel before.

Insiders confided that she and Paxton met up on trip across the country and even overseas.

The Duhons built their house in 2005 but it was battered by Hurricane Katrina and left it needing mass repairs before they could move in.

Duhon told Social North Shore in 2021: ‘Like many people, we had to rebuild many areas of our home.

‘Once it was done, I wanted to make our beautiful home a place of love for our family as well as others.

‘What better way to get to know your neighbors than to open your home and serve them?

‘I began with a Christmas luncheon in December of 2006; and I realized that, when women are brought together, they can do great things.’

The stunning property boasts a huge pool and hot tub on the lakeside, as well as its own private dock with a small boat moored on it.

There were also multiple jet skis tied up inside the small estuary that separates the mansion from the huge lake.

Interior pictures show the 9,000 square foot home with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water, surrounded by near one acre of land.

Since the Daily Mail revealed her affair, Duhon has declined to comment but has broken her silence on Instagram with a self-help video.

She said in the clip: ‘For the longest time, I thought my purpose had to be big and loud, but God showed me that it was already in me based on the way I loved.’

The Duhons had been a wealthy and notable couple in the New Orleans area, and were prominent in the charity sector through their Giving Hope Foundation.

On social media, Duhon bragged about her 27-year marriage to Troy Duhon, the wealthy owner of 39 car dealerships. 

She also frequently discusses the power of prayer, and advises others on how to navigate death and other difficult times of their lives.

On her website, she shares she lost two babies who died the day they were born in separate pregnancies.

Her faith and grief counseling are the subject of her book When Hope is all you Have.

Meanwhile the couple had financed the faith-based movie God’s not Dead in 2014, having feared their children would lose their religion when they went to college.

The romance between Duhon and Paxton started after the pair met at the Kentucky Derby last year, multiple sources revealed.

Since May 2024, the lovers have had multiple rendezvous on trips across the country and even overseas, according to insiders.

The getaways were essential to keeping the entanglement secret as both were married at the time, the sources said.

A source said: ‘[Paxton is] enamored with her face. He’s enamored with her story of overcoming adversity – she’s lost two children. He’s enamored with her faith.’

The insider claims Paxton has a ‘sincere’ affection for her and believes she could be the second major relationship in his life.

Despite their best efforts to keep their relationship under wraps, Paxton’s wife learned her husband was cheating again earlier this year, another source said.

Even though the Paxtons had not lived together since 2024, learning about Duhon made the arrangement between Angela and Paxton untenable, sources said.

In an epic tweet, Angela announced the end of her 38-year marriage in July, dumping her husband.

‘Today, after 38 years of marriage, I filed for divorce on biblical grounds,’ she announced to the world on X July 10.

‘…in light of recent discoveries, I do not believe that it honors God or is loving to myself, my children, or Ken to remain in the marriage.’

A public official in her own right, Angela, represents the Dallas suburb of McKinney in the Texas Senate.

She accused Paxton of ‘adultery’ in court filings, however their divorce records have now been sealed.

Paxton, a staunch ally of Donald Trump, has hitched his wagon to the MAGA movement, becoming one of the fiercest defenders of the president.

Last year, he decided to try and unseat long-time Senator John Cornyn, considered a more establishment Republican. 

Now both office holders are desperately trying to convince conservative voters they are the purest incarnation of the GOP.

Both Paxton and Cornyn are appealing to conservatives who rank Christianity and family values as top priorities.

Prior to news of the Paxton divorce, the MAGA Attorney General was ahead by as many as 16 points with conservative voters in the Lone Star State.

Polling in the weeks after Angela announced their divorce shows Cornyn and Paxton in a dead heat.

Cornyn certainly believes the Duhon affair is a game changer, repeatedly attacking Paxton on the issue.

The sitting senator could not resist the opportunity to stick it to Paxton as news of a tech CEO who was caught cheating on his wife at a Coldplay concert went viral.

‘Good news for @kenpaxtontx,’ Cornyn posted to X, sharing a parody tweet joking the band would no longer be showing candid camera shots of their audience.

Cornyn also launched a new attack ad in July, calling out Paxton for his previous affair with Olson.

Olson became the focus when the attorney general was impeached by both Republicans and Democrats in the Texas House on allegations of corruption.

Paxton was eventually acquitted after a trial in the state senate and returned to his office. If he had been found guilty, he would have lost his job as attorney general.

Angela sat through his trial at the senate every day, listening to details of his affair with Olson, even on the days her husband did not show up. She recused herself from voting.

Olson was called to the State Capitol to testify, but never actually took the stand.

When asked about Duhon being his mistress, Paxton did not address the claim but attacked the Daily Mail and vowed to take on the ‘deranged radical Left’ with Trump.

When the Daily Mail reached out to Duhon, she hung up after learning she was on the phone with a reporter.

She did not respond to text messages seeking further comment. Angela Paxton declined to comment through a spokesman.
