A BOY cried “I want my mum” as he was stabbed 27 times on the bus on his way home from school by two smiling teen killers.

Kelyan Bokassa suffered a fatal blow to his leg after he was attacked with a machete in Woolwich, South East London.

Two boys aged 15 and 16, who cannot legally be named, were today locked up for life after they admitted murder.

The attackers, both with prior offenses for possessing knives in public, will be required to serve a minimum of 15 years and 10 months before they can seek parole.

The court previously heard how Kelyan was attacked on the Route 472 bus on January 7.

Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC said the teen killers had boarded the vehicle armed with identical machetes hidden in their clothes.

The pair walked towards Kelyan “with purpose” and withdrew their blades before immediately stabbing him without uttering a word to their victim.

According to Ms Heer, “As Kelyan Bokassa was trapped in the back seat, he was unable to flee while the attackers repeatedly stabbed at him, grinning as they acted.”

The attack lasted around 14 seconds – with the killers thrusting the machetes towards Kelyan 27 times.

Passengers heard terrified Kelyan screaming “Help. Help. I’ve been stabbed” as one of the blows severed his femoral artery.

He managed to stumble down the stairs, where he begged: “Take me to my mum’s. I want my mum”.

Sadly, Arsenal mad Kelyan couldn’t be saved and died shortly after medics arrived.

One of the machetes was discarded in the River Thames but was later recovered.

Kelyan’s mum previously claimed the teen was groomed by gangs from the age of six.

Mary, 50, told how she would find him on park benches at night and beg him to come home after he was taken into care four years ago.

Reflecting on her failed attempt to rescue him, she conveyed to The Sun on Sunday: “I tried to stop it. I yelled. I said, ‘My son is going to be killed’.”

In a victim impact statement, she told how her son is now at peace while his killers are “going to have a really tough time”.

Mary added: “I ask myself what has happened to those two boys that has resulted in that terrible act of violence, and I cannot imagine how can they be so angry.

“What they did was horrific and I do not know what has led them to do this, and maybe I will never.”
