Wild video shows cop jumping on stranger's car hood to hitch a ride for a police chase: 'Go! Go! Go! '

Adrenaline-pumping footage captured on a body camera reveals a remarkable moment in Oklahoma, where a police officer leapt onto the hood of an unsuspecting motorist’s car, clinging on as he directed the driver to pursue a fleeing suspect.

The dramatic scene unfolded when the Oklahoma City officer abandoned his squad car in a bid to chase down a 17-year-old suspect riding a minibike. At that critical moment, a passing motorist caught his eye, prompting him to make the bold move of hitching a ride, as captured in the video obtained by KOCO.

Urging the driver with urgency, the officer shouted, “Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!” before vaulting onto the car’s hood, further instructing, “Drive! Drive! Drive!”

From his precarious perch, he skillfully guided the driver, pointing ahead as the car accelerated in pursuit of the elusive biker.

Once within range, the officer leapt off the vehicle, swiftly subduing the teenager.

As backup units arrived on the scene, the officer acknowledged the crucial role played by his unexpected and likely astonished civilian ally, who had aided in the capture.

“What an outstanding citizen — he gave me a ride,” the officer said of the unidentified driver who helped him.

The stranger remained at the scene to help, seemingly in awe at what cops are willing to do.

“So, that’s the kind of adrenaline y’all get to deal with?” the driver remarked.

The officer began pursuing two minibikes in the cruiser after seeing them driving without headlights and failing to stop at a stop sign in the Oklahoma capital, according to police.

The dangerous drama was all over the teen biker riding without headlights and then blasting through a stop sign, police said.

The biker was arrested for eluding a police officer, failure to maintain liability insurance, driving without a license, failure to use a safety signal, failure to stop at a stop sign and operating a minibike on a street.
