'Bachelor in Paradise' bartender Wells Adams reveals contestant drink requests

They’re old-fashioned.

“Bachelor in Paradise” bartender Wells Adams revealed the drink requests he received from senior contestants competing on the show this season.

“They drink like the elderly do, with requests like, ‘I need two fingers of Glenlivet and some Chablis mixed with Mylanta,'” he shared with The Post.

This marks the inaugural summer where “BiP” has included alumni from the franchise’s spinoffs for seniors, “The Golden Bachelor” and “The Golden Bachelorette,” whose ages range from 62 to 72. Adams, 41, toasted to their classic beverage preferences.

“They drink like people should drink, which is like old school. I appreciate it,” he said.

“I made a couple of Manhattans, I made a couple martinis, I made a couple Old Fashioneds.”

Originally hailing from California, Adams entered the Bachelor Universe in 2016 as a contestant on JoJo Fletcher’s season of “The Bachelorette,” where he finished in eighth place. [Fletcher ultimately tied the knot with another contestant, Aaron Rodgers’ sibling, Jordan.]

That same summer, he competed on “Bachelor in Paradise” — where castoffs from “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” mingle on the beach — and was asked to man its bar the following season, after the show’s original bartender, Jorge Moreno, left.

He said the most popular drink in “Paradise” amongst the 20- and 30-somethings was created by Moreno and kept the contestants — who were dating in the Costa Rican sun — cool as cucumbers.

“He had this drink called the Jorge Special . . . you cut up some cucumbers . . . then throw in some vodka, let the vodka infuse into the cucumbers, then throw in some ice, then it is soda water, splash of 7-Up or Sprite, and then garnish with a lime wedge,” he explained.

“It’s so hot in ‘Paradise’ that that drink really, really is refreshing.”

Only one person has ordered beer in “Paradise” — show host Jesse Palmer.

“I’ve only ever served four beers. They’ve all been to Jesse,” said Adams.

He gave the former Giants quarterback — who took over “Bachelor” franchise hosting duties after Chris Harrison stepped down — credit for changing a longstanding bubbly tradition.

“I gotta give Jesse props. You know, for years you had to come and start a rose ceremony with a glass of champagne and this year he changed things up, and it was appropriate for where we were,” he noted.

“He came with a rocks glass full of really nice rum. And so, every rose ceremony, some producer would be like, ‘Hey, Jesse needs his rum.’”

The reality star did end up meeting his wife, Sarah Hyland, through the ABC franchise, since the “Modern Family” actress watched his season of “The Bachelorette,” and tweeted about having a crush on him.

The couple married in 2022 and Adams always makes sure to keep up with his other half’s drink of choice, which has changed over the years.

“I made her a spicy cranberry margarita, she really liked that. And then I got her on Old Fashioneds and she really liked those,” he said.

“And then she maneuvered into just wanting bourbon neat cause she’s a badass. She likes gin martinis as well. But rosé is her go-to drink.”
