GCPD: One injured after domestic dispute turns into shooting in Brunswick


The investigation by the Glynn County Police Department is still underway.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. — A shooting incident in Brunswick led to one individual being hospitalized with injuries, as confirmed by the Glynn County Police Department on Tuesday.

According to the GCPD, officers were dispatched to the Morning Tide Apartments on Monday evening in response to a “domestic disturbance report.” En route, they were informed that gunshots had been fired.

Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered a man with a gunshot wound. Glynn County Fire Rescue provided immediate assistance, and the victim was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital. His current condition remains undisclosed.

The GCPD indicated that detectives have secured the area and are actively interviewing those involved, along with witnesses, to piece together the events.
