Teen girl with long blonde hair.

A teenage girl, accused of the horrific act of killing her mother and stepfather while they slept, allegedly left a disturbing note for her biological father as she attempted to cover up the tragic event.

Sarah Grace Patrick was just 16 when Kristin and James Brock were shot dead as they slept in Carrollton, west of Atlanta, on February 20, 2025.

Their bodies were discovered by her six-year-old sister, and soon after, Patrick herself contacted 911 to report the deaths. Initial reports suggested that the home’s back door might have been left open.

However, months down the line, the girl, now 17 years old, became the main suspect in their deaths. Her emotional speech at her mother’s funeral was among the evidence that surfaced before Patrick surrendered to the authorities earlier this month.

Patrick’s arrest has stunned the local community after she initially appeared to be a grieving teenager on social media, posting about her heartbreak on TikTok.

But Carroll County sheriffs claim they have “mountains of evidence” that indicate she is responsible for the deaths of Kristin, 41, and James, 45.

The U.S. Sun has now uncovered several Facebook posts from the families, including a message written by the teen in the aftermath of the tragedy.

Patrick’s biological father, Doniel, shared the note on June 13, almost four months after the murders.

“Dear Dad, I love you so much and I don’t know what I would do if God didn’t send me you,” it reads.

“I love you and I know a lot has happened but js know I love you! And we got this!”

She signed the note with a love heart and her name, adding, “I’m so proud of you, thank you for being an amazing dad.”

Doniel posted the message along with the caption, “I love coming home to little things like this. Thank you Sarah Grace.”

He admitted in the comments that he cried when he saw the note, while one follower wrote, “She’s the best.”

Three days later, Doniel shared an old Father’s Day picture for his ex-wife, Kristin, and posted, “It’s not fair that they are not here. It’s not fair for the kids. It’s not fair for the families.

“I’m sick of waiting for answers. I can’t wait for them to catch the a**holes that did this. Please excuse my language, but I am angry.”

The same month, he shared a photograph of his daughter, writing, “My beautiful Sarah Grace.”

He is yet to comment on the charges, but posted a meme on July 12, which read, “Don’t ever judge anyone on how they handle a pain you’ve never felt.”

I can’t wait for them to catch the a**holes that did this.”

The teen reported handed herself into police 24 hours after she was notified that a warrant was out for her arrest.

She has been charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault in connection with the shootings.

Court records obtained by The U.S. Sun show Patrick has hired a public defender to represent her in court, and reports claim she will be tried as an adult.

‘TEARFUL EULOGY’

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Patrick’s father and her public defender for comment, but did not hear back.

She is yet to appear in court or enter a plea.

Ashley Hulsey, a spokesperson for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, told NewsNation that Patrick was the one to phone after her little sister found their parents dead.

Husley revealed that investigators went to the funeral where Patrick gave a tearful eulogy that raised eyebrows, saying, “It seemed odd. It was more like a speech, and at the end she said, ‘I’m sorry.’

“Was that, ‘I’m sorry because I may have done this,’ or is it, ‘I’m sorry because I was upset during this eulogy?’ We may never know.”

Husley went on, “Her social media was followed, and the trail continues to be followed today, because when you post your life online, it becomes fair game during an investigation like this.”

She confirmed that Patrick’s dad has been with her since her arrest, and the teen may not be the only one charged in connection with the double murder.

Husley clarified, “I can tell you that we’re looking at a couple of different aspects that someone could have been involved, or had knowledge, and we won’t know all those facts until we continue to work this case.

“This remains a very active and fluid case, and just because we made an arrest doesn’t mean we don’t still have a lot of work to do.”

Authorities are still searching for a motive.

Family members say they grew uneasy with Patrick’s behaviour, especially at the funeral, and police spent months interviewing people ahead of her arrest.

One of Patrick’s TikTok posts reads, “They don’t know it, but a year from now me and my 5-year-old sister would find them wrongfully shot dead in our home – and they won’t get to watch me graduate high school, see me walk down the aisle, or even say goodbye. (sic)”

She captioned the video, “I miss you guys, save a seat for me in heaven.”
