Chris Jericho seems to be keeping a close eye on his diet these days.
The wrestling icon unveiled a fresh appearance in a social media update on Thursday, where he was pictured alongside music mogul Matthew Pinfield. This comes amid swirling speculation about Jericho’s potential comeback to WWE.
Jericho, who has juggled careers as both a musician and a wrestler since the 1990s, expressed gratitude to Pinfield for joining him on his podcast. In the post, he also shared his deep passion for rock-and-roll.
The legendary wrestler sported his signature long hair in the post, a noticeable departure from the look he last displayed during his final appearance with AEW in June.
With his profitable AEW contract now concluded, Jericho is currently a free agent. There is widespread anticipation that he will make a return to WWE, possibly as soon as next week’s “RAW” broadcast on Monday, January 5, from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Additionally, the Royal Rumble, set for January 31 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is another potential return date for Jericho. The event is known for its unexpected surprise entrants, fueling the rumors of his comeback.
Jericho also appears to have melted some weight off aead of a potential return to the WWE, with his last match with the company coming in 2018.
The wrestling legend at one point admitted to getting up to 240 pounds during his AEW run, and while we don’t know his current weight, he looks to be in the best shape we’ve seen him in years.

Should Jericho return to the WWE as widely speculated, he could be a perfect fit to work alongside Cody Rhodes, AJ Styles or LA Knight, as Jericho has been a notorious heel for most of his career.
Jericho joined AEW in 2019 when the promotion opened and served as the company’s first world champion, with his reputation helping lift the company during a critical time.
He is credited as having last wrestled on June 4, 2025, during the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event, and competed in just eight bouts during 2025, according to Cagematch.
