Ronnie Hickman, a safety for the Cleveland Browns, found himself the victim of an assault by a group of attackers at a fashionable hotel on the Lower East Side, according to law enforcement sources who spoke with The Post.
The 24-year-old NFL player, who previously made a name for himself at Ohio State and graduated from De Paul Catholic High School in Passaic, New Jersey, was confronted by four individuals in the SIXTY LES hotel’s lobby on Allen Street. The incident occurred shortly after 4:30 a.m., leading to a heated altercation, police and sources reported.
Sources indicate that the assailants identified Hickman as a member of the Browns, prompting the confrontation.

The attackers subsequently punched Hickman before fleeing the scene.
Hickman was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
As of now, authorities have not made any arrests related to the incident.
Hickman joined the Browns in 2023 after going undrafted in that yearâs NFL draft and remains on the teamâs roster.
