The Critics Choice Association has revealed the winners of the seventh annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievements in nonfiction, unscripted, and reality television across various platforms, including broadcast, cable, and streaming.

ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” was a standout, securing two awards: Best Competition Series for Talent/Variety and Male Star of the Year for contestant Stephen Nedoroscik. Hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough received the show’s award in a shared video message. Ribeiro expressed gratitude by thanking everyone involved in the show, from executives to crew members and dancers. He emphasized the collective effort required to earn such recognition. Hough added her excitement for the upcoming season 34. In his acceptance message, Nedoroscik expressed deep honor, reflecting on how “Dancing with the Stars” pushed him beyond his comfort zone and taught him valuable lessons in resilience, expression, and joy in uncomfortable situations.

The award for Best Sports Show went to FX’s “Welcome to Wrexham,” with executive producer Ryan Reynolds accepting the honor. He conveyed his gratitude, stating, “Thank you for all the support.” Reynolds highlighted his deep affection for Wrexham and expressed how grateful he is that viewers engage with the show.

Other winners included Nat Geo’s “No Taste Like Home with Antoni Porowski” for Best Structured Series. “This has been a beautiful opportunity to tell stories through food, and I couldn’t be more grateful,” Porowski said.
