GLAAD has unveiled the nominees for its 37th Annual Media Awards, with The Walt Disney Company leading the pack in terms of nominations among networks, outlets, and platforms.

This year, Disney has garnered an impressive 30 nominations across its various channels and platforms, including ABC, Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney Jr., Freeform, Hulu, and National Geographic. Notable shows like “Abbott Elementary” and “Dancing with the Stars” are among those recognized.

GLAAD, the world’s largest advocacy group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media, aims to “accelerate acceptance and understanding for LGBTQ people through visibility in media.” The organization’s Media Awards seek to celebrate “outstanding fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues across film, television, gaming, music, podcasting, journalism, Spanish-Language media, and more.”
